1099-k

I live in Massachusetts (a state where i receive a 1099-k with minimal sales/transactions).  I have received a 1099-k from Stubhub the last 2 years at least. When will I be receiving my 1099-k for 2022? 

According to the IRS website, 1099-ks are due to the payee by January 31st.  When will i be receiving mine?

I am in Massachusetts so I need a 1099k even though the federal requirement has been delayed until next year. 

I received a 1099k from Paypal for my Stubhub payments.  Do you have your Stubhub payments sent to Paypal?  If you do then what I was told is that for mass payments to Paypal Stubhub will not send a 1099k as Paypal sent one for the Stubhub mass payments.

So sorry for the trouble with this. Our payments team let us know that there was a slight delay in getting some of the 1099s out for this last tax year for Vermont and Massachusetts. They are being sent out last week and this week, so you should be seeing that very soon.

A week or so back I was told by a @teamstubhub rep that if I used Paypal for mass payments from Stubhub then I would not be getting a 1099k from Stubhub.  I got a 1099k from Paypal for all of my Stubhub mass payments sent to Paypal and the rep told me to use that for my tax reporting.  So clarify this for me please?  Am I going to get a 1099k from Stubhub for the sales that I already got a Paypal 1099k for?  You can send me a PM if you don't want to post a reply here.  Thank you.

Yes @bossfan That is correct. Any sellers who use PayPal for their payments will receive one from them and not from us. Sorry for any confusion on that. So the reply we sent above will only apply to seller who added a direct deposit to StubHub and accept payments there. Good call out.

@TeamStubHub I have used paypal to receive cash for the past two years and i have always gotten the 1099 from Stubhub. Why the change?

Not sure on that one. It may be a PayPal policy change. The payments team only recently notified us of the change this year.

@TeamStubHub Have there been delays for customers in Georgia? It is February 23 and I have not received a 1099-K from StubHub.
