Coronavirus Refunds

Hi,

 

Last week I saw that if our event was cancelled we'd have the option of a coupon OR get a refund.  The event I was going to, Miss Saigon at the Fox Theater in Atlanta Ga was cancelled.  When I looked on Stubhub I saw that a refund was no longer listed.  Please let me know how I can get refunded.

Hi, @joel! We're showing that this event has been postponed to an undetermined later date. If you are seeing that it has been canceled, please send us a link & we'd be happy to review things further. Thank you Paul.   However nobody has addressed my concern that Stubhub offered a refund for cancelled events, but now I'm not seeing that, only a coupon.  I rarely go to shows, so I'd most likely not use a coupon before it expired, thus I'd want a refund.

My apologies. You are correct, currently, for all canceled events buyers will receive a credit for them to use toward another event of their choice. I'll send you a private message to go over the order specifics with you.

I have tickets to the same event.  I also have an email from Stubhub stating I will have the option for a coupon or a refund.  My expectation is you will honor your word.

You are likely referring to the general email update that we sent to our fans, @Gbarnett. Our policy has since changed & can be found here -

Thanks for the update however I do expect a refund when you confirm the event is cancelled.  

 

I don't understand how Stubhub can make unilateral changes for tickets that have been previously purchased.  I do agree that Stubhub has the authority to make policy changes that affect future transactions.

I agree with you 100%. Seat geek is offering 100% refund for tickets due to the Coronavirus. I expect StubHub to do the same. This changing poli
