FUN FACTS

  • This will be the 27th time the Coliseum has hosted the ACC Tournament. That is the most out of any venue to host this event as it returns to “Tourney Town!”
  • The Coliseum is also home to the ACC Hall of Champions Museum that opened in 2011.
  • North Carolina schools consist of the top 4 teams with the most tournament championships with Duke leading the way with 21, UNC with 18, NC State with 10 & Wake Forest with 4. The Duke Blue Devils this year look to repeat as they dominated the tournament in 2019 led by Zion Williamson.
  • The Clemson Tigers, who have been in the ACC since its inception in 1953, have never won an ACC Tournament Championship.
  • This year, only 14 teams will be in the tournament as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have been banned from postseason play, including the ACC Tournament, due to NCAA rules violations.
  • Also, this year will be the first time that the tournament will not be available free-to-air as the new ACC Network with exclusively carry the First Round of the tournament. ESPN networks will carry the remainder of the tournament.
