Selling Tickets from TicketMaster

I have tickets on ticketmaster that I want to sell. TicketMaster will not allow me to sell them, the response is "event planner has not open up for selling at this time, check back later".  I wish to sell them on Snubhub.  How do I accomplish this?

Hi @jamesmcook

Sometimes Ticketmaster prevents tickets bought on their to be sold on their site.  If you are able to trasnfer the tickets from Ticketmaster you can sell them on Stubhub.

Re: Selling Tickets from TicketMaster

Hi.  I have the same situation.  I can transfer the tickets from Ticketmaster, but I don't see how I can list them on StubHub.  Do I transfer the tickets to StubHub and then list them?  Is there a way to list them manually, and then transfer when I have a buyer?  I'm not sure what the process is.  TIA.

Re: Selling Tickets from TicketMaster

Hi there! We apologize for the confusion. You would first list the tickets for sale on our site for sale and then if the tickets are sold, we will then send you an email informing you of the buyer's name and email address so you can then transfer the tickets to said buyer. Once the transfer has been completed, you will then go into your StubHub account and confirm the transfer on the sale!

I understand the process, but how do you know I actually sent the tickets from Ticketmaster??? Is there a way to prove it, so I can get paid??

Re: Selling Tickets from TicketMaster

They will know because, when you send the tickets, you are sending them in a way that they pass through StubHub. For mobile transfer, for example, you will be provided an email address that is on a StubHub-controlled domain. You transfer the tickets to that address. Not directly to the buyer.

They also will know if the Buyer contacts them and says they never received the tickets or received the wrong ones, etc.

Re: Selling Tickets from TicketMaster

Hi @Crow331

When you transfer the tickets from Ticketmaster you will receive an email indicating the you have sent the tickets to your buyer.  Make sure you keep this email.  Go to your open sales in Stubhub and confirm that you have transferred the tickets.  They make ask you to upload proof of transfer.  In this case you can upload a PDF or photo of the email you got from Ticketmaster.  You will then be paid 5-8 Business days After the event.  But you MUST Confirm the transfer as this is what lets Stubhub know the transfer has occured.
