Live Nation clearly states on their site that the Dickey Betts/ Dave Mason & Steve Cropper concert on August 30 in Wallingford, CT has been cancelled. Stubhub is saying it is postponed. Live Nation's website should be pretty darn good confirmation that the show is cancelled. How long do I have to wait for my money from Stubhub?

I purchased tickets to the ALLY COALITION concert in New York City. Found out I could not attend and wanted to sell the tickets on the Ticketmaster site but was unable to see how to do this. I emailed Ticketmaster fan support asking how to sell the tickets on their site and after not hearing from them for a few days I then posted on StubHub. They sold on StubHub. I then received an email from Ticketmaster saying they have cancelled my order. I immediately contacted them to return the tickets to my account but they said they could not because they were resold. I telephoned StubHub about this dilemma; I also did an online chat with them. I was told that the ALLY COALITION (the concert charity promotor) contacted StubHub to say that they were a charity and do not want their tickets resold on StubHub which StubHub seems to have agreed to because there are not any tickets listed for this event. I was told by the StubHub representatives not to worry, that they will be contacting the people who purchased tickets from the StubHub site to alert them that the tickets will not be valid. I am trying to return the money that has been placed into my account but I am not receiving a response.and I do not want any negative marks on my account or penalties of any sort. Tickets can be found on EBAY so this would allow the people who purchased tickets (especially the person who purchased my now not valid tickets) a chance to secure other tickets. How do I receive a confirmation from StubHub that I have done everything in my power to make this situation right? This is now my fourth time writing to StubHub confirming that the tickets they sold FOR me were in fact canceled by Ticketmaster and are no longer valid. I do not want there to be any confusion. The downloads that someone purchased will not gain entry to the venue. I have been by StubHub representatives to not worry about this because StubHub has been alerted by the charity organization ALLY COALITION that StubHub should not be selling these tickets on the StubHub site. SO, I was told do not worry and that they will be alerting the buyer of these tickets that the pdf downloads are no good and to not attempt entry to the venue with them because they will not be allowed entry. I am just trying to do the right thing. Again, How do I receive a confirmation from StubHub that I have done everything in my power to make this situation right? December 16, 2017
