Cancelling Tickets

I bought tickets to a hockey game for my nephew but unfortunately I got them for the wrong city and I need to cancel the order. The problem is I purchased them as a Guest and when I go to the order I'm not seeing the 'Cancel Order' option and I don't see a way to contact StubHub directly.

Any help / direction will be appreciated - thanks,

Bill

Re: Cancelling Tickets

Hi @byoungman

Unfortunately Stubhub does not allow oyu to cancel an order even if you bought for the wrong city.  You can sell the tickets on Stubhub and they will generally waive the selelrs fee if you do so

Re: Cancelling Tickets

Thank you for your response.

After spending some time digging around yesterday on their site I started suspecting that was case.

Thanks again,

Bill

yep same problem. this is literally so stupid considering the seller doesn’t get paid until after the event, so why is it so hard to cancel ????

Re: Cancelling Tickets

Hi @samazzara

The seller made a valid sale. Stubhub will generally waive the sellers fee so you should be able to get out of this close to whole. Depending on market conditions you could even make a few dollars

Re: Cancelling Tickets

Even if the event is months away there is no way to cancel....

This is the most stupid ticket sale I every tried.

And, also, the tickets are overpriced and there is a extra fees which adds up more to the cost of the ticket.

Stupid stubhub.

Not able to cancel makes this a scam!

Re: Cancelling Tickets

There is not one ticket site, Ticketmaster or third party, that will allow you to cancel a sale.  And why did you buy tickets if you thought that they are overpriced???
