Policy of buyer cannot backout, but seller can back out up until game time

I bought tickets 6-weeks ago for Oregon vs Michigan football game in the big house on Nov 2nd. No tickets yet and Stubhub is saying that the sellers have up until game time to deliver the tickets. If you're the seller (who can back out at any time) wouldn't you wait to see what the team records are going int the game. If they're two top ten teams wouldn't the tickets be worth more and just pull them and sell them on another site? And as a buyer we can't cancel until game time. So, we're going to spend thousands of dollars to get to there and maybe don't have tickets for the game. Does anyone else find the policy really bad business and frustrating?

If a seller backs out and does not deliver they are charged a fee of 100% of the value of the sale. Additionally, StubHub will offer comparable replacement tickets at no additional cost or provide a 100% refund to your original payment method if replacement tickets aren't available.

what if the buyer just wants a refund and not a comparable seat . "comparable" is opiniated you think? So only the buyer can determine that.

The buyer can only get a refund if you mislabeled the seats but not if they had a change of heart

Not true. They will offer you worse tickets or you could get a refund but it’s not automatic. It can takes weeks to get. Total joke.

Yes! How is this okay? The sellers don't get paid until 5-6 business days after the event. So they get to hold on to they money all that time!
