Coachella has been purposefully vague about future dates, and for good reason since the COVID situation is still fluid. The difference is that they've already offered refunds to those who have wanted/needed it. Stubhub has not offered this courtesy. Saying you're waiting to hear from Coachella is a very transparent excuse to pass blame on to them. Stubhub's hands are not tied here, they could choose to do the right thing at any time. If you don't have the money to pay everyone back, you've had a year to figure out how to get the money. I will never be using Stubhub again, and have made sure to tell everyone I know about this ridiculous situation.

Now that it has been a year and Coachella has been rescheduled twice, I’d like to know if Stubhubs stance on refunds has changed. Coachella still won’t happen in April, and new dates have not been announced, effectively making this event CANCELLED. Due to financial hardship because of this pandemic, I had to get a refund from Coachella for my tickets, yet I’m still trapped in this Stubhub contract. I’m sure the person who bought my tickets a year ago would love their money back too. Can’t we just cancel this contract and all move on with our lives? Doesn’t seem fair that if I cancel, I have to pay Stubhub money, and the person who bought my useless tickets has to wait to sell to another party to make money, or wait until 2022 to use them. Sounds like Stubhub wins on both ends and all of us lose.
