I wanted to share a really disappointing experience I had with StubHub, in hopes that it leads to a resolution—not just for me, but to prevent this from happening to others. I bought tickets through StubHub for an event on March 27, 2025, at the James L. Knight Center in Miami. Days before the event, I reached out to StubHub about the ticket delivery, and they assured me that the tickets would be sent on the day of the event. Trusting that, I waited. On the day of the event, I still hadn’t received anything, so I called StubHub an hour before it started. They didn’t say anything was wrong and reassured me that the tickets would be sent shortly. But they never came. It wasn’t until ten minutes into the event—ten minutes after it had already started—that they finally told me the tickets weren’t coming at all. With no other option, I purchased new tickets at the venue for $295 just to attend. StubHub refunded the original $245 purchase, but I was left to cover the additional $50 out of pocket due to their failure to fulfill the order. I submitted the receipt and requested reimbursement for the difference. After being escalated to a manager, my claim was denied—because my original refund had “already been transacted.” This isn’t just about the money. It’s about accountability. StubHub is a marketplace we trust with our time and plans. When that trust is broken, there should be a real effort to make things right. StubHub: Please do the right thing and make this right. And to others in this forum—have you experienced something similar? How did you get StubHub to actually respond? —Alicia
