I've already transferred the tickets via Ticketmaster, the buyer has accepted them and I have no longer possession of them. The event is almost one year from now. Does it mean that my money will be kept in stubhub account for one year?!
I'm curious about the rationale behind holding the payment until after the event to "make sure the buyer had no problems with the tickets." The involvement of Ticketmaster in the ticket transfer process should provide sufficient evidence of a successful transaction, and thus, holding the payment seems counterintuitive.
All third-party resale sites pay after the event. It is a holdover from Covid when there were large-scale cancellations where buyers had to be refunded.
