Won't get tixs until day of show BUT Investing in Travel, Time Off Work

I just bought 4 front row dead center tickets for a show in July all the way across the country - and after purchase got the message that I won't get tickets until day of the show.  They will give me comparable or better seats if I don't get these tickets by the day of show - better than front row, dead center??  I don't want a refund on the day of the show as we are going to this show just because of these front row center seats I purchased. We will all have taken time off of work and spent thousands of dollars on travel.  So it is making me very nervous about fraud (especially reading all the comments in this community and Reddit - wish I did that before). What stops the reseller from reselling the tickets to a higher payer on another platform if they don't have to send me the tickets right away?  Does anyone know how to escalate with Stub Hub?  I'd like a refund now before we invest in travel expenses, time off of work, etc

And to add to the above - I looked into reselling the tixs on Stubhub as it said something in the initial ad for the seats before I purchased that if I change my mind, no problem I can resell.  It lets me resell but then hides the tickets from searches since I haven't sent Stub Hub tickets (which I can't do).  How did the original reseller be able to sell their tixs to me without Stubhub hiding their listing without them sending Stubhub the tixs???
