Need replacement tickets

I purchased tickets and the seller told StubHub the tickets were reimbursed to her and not valid. I have been explaining this for 3 months to "customer service" I was told I may not receive tickets until the day of the event. This is an out of town even and don't know if I should buy the tickets (much higher price now) or wait and likely not receive them. Anyone have this experience?
