I eventually got a refund but it literally took months. I kept getting the typical stubhub line that “my case was escalated”, but nothing ever happened. I called many times and it took hours and hours. At one point after months, i just happened to get the one person in stubhub customer support who actually took action. I honestly think if i had not wasted so much time and called and called, i would have never gotten the refund. In almost the same exact situation now with stubhub again and have been trying to resolve it for about a month. Their customer service is just not set up to deal with problems at all anymore, so it can be pretty rough.
