How do I turn off "are you still interested" and "event suggestion emails"?

How do I turn off "are you still interested" and "event suggestion emails"?

I get these all the time and they annoy the hell out of me. I hit the unsubscribe button and NOTHING happens. I don't see any options to turn these off in my account.

Hi! In Settings, if you go to the Contact tab, you can turn off the preference for marketing and promotional emails!

Clicking on 'Unsubscribe....' does absolutely nothing for me. Is Delete Account my only option??
