I just purchased hockey tickets for an NHL game in Carolina for two college friends and me. I was shocked to see service fees have increased to almost 42% of base ticket costs. A $157 base price ticket ended up costing $238 (sales tax of about $15/ticket). Fees used to be exorbitant, but not THIS!
