TIN/SS number required for all sales?

Hi! Sold 3 tickets at loss. A total amount StubHub is withholding from me $120. No other transactions with StubHub and after this experience will definitely never use them again.

Probably required by all reseller sites.  No site knows how many tickets you will sell over the course of the year or for how much so they now require Tax Id.  If at the end of the year your sales are below the reportable minimum then you will not get a 1099.  If you do end up getting a 1099 you can list all of your sales and any gains or losses that you might have

wrong! other sites do not require TIN/SSN and do not withhold payments from their sellers.
