My fiance bought us tickets for Hamilton which I've been wanting to see for years for a present for my birthday. He spent a lot of time finding the best seats for the best price and we were super excited about it. Fast forward to the week before the event, prices have (unsurprisingly), shot up. He gets a notification that our seats have been "upgraded"--great news, right? Nope. We were upper mezzanine front row, center. Moved to far right upper mezzanine LAST row, obstructed. This is insane? We have submitted complaint tickets and called and either keep being told to wait, buy new tickets, or that nothing can be done. "the seller can't fulfil the tickets and they will be reprimanded". I get that the seller now wants the larger profit, but is there truly no way to hold sellers accountable to original agreements? Can stubhub truly not match our original seats? On a different day? With their $120 ticket fees per person that were paid, I can't believe they "can't do anything".
