Charge to my bank

Hello, I recently sold one General Admission ticket for the _______ event. When I went through the process to sell the tickets, the box for the proposed selling price was $510. I proposed selling the tickets for $510, and the box showed that I would be paid $459 for the tickets, having already deducted Stubhub's commission, which would be $51.

I just received a charge to my bank for $510. Why are you charging me $510? Why are you charging me $510?

Supposedly, if I sell the tickets for $510, you collect the $51 commission and give me $459 for the ticket sale. I don't know why you're charging me $510.

Re: Charge to my bank

Did you transfer the tickets to the buyer?  You are being charged 100% of the sale price which is the penalty charge for not delivering the tickets.

I didn't transfer the tickets to anyone. I did everything the website told me to do. I received the physical tickets. I organized the package to send it to the person they indicated, and I printed the shipping label. The buyer now has their physical tickets.

OK so if you mailed physical tickets to the buyer then I hope that you kept proof of that?  And not sure if you have to confirm on your sales page that you delivered the tickets, I know with electronic transfers you do.

Anyhow, it does seem that Stubhub charged you for not delivering the tickets.  Since it sounds like you did then you need to call them to ask why you were charged a non delivery penalty.  Good luck with that, their customer service is awful.  866-Stubhub
