How is it even legal for Stubhub to allow users to sell AC/DC concert tickets before they've went on sale? It's definitely not ethical. There are no presale ticket purchasing options for their upcoming 2025 US Tour and tickets have not gone on sale yet. This has to be illegal. It's absolutely ridiculous for people to have the ability to sell tickets on this or any other platform that they don't have on hand themselves.
Season ticket holders at the venues might have been offered presale access. Other listings could be speculative.
Honestly, I rarely do unless I've decided to go to a concert last minute I'll check the resale sites. I only noticed this because I was searching for a possible presale code through AC/DC's website & Ticketmaster. AC/DC has chosen not to do any presale so it's interesting venues have the ability to. What pulled up was Stubhub and Vivid Seats had tickets listed for sale at 2x or more than what the cost will probably be tomorrow when tickets are on sale. I think we are all just sooooooo over the cost of tickets in general along with ridiculous fees then you have bots & others turning around and selling tickets for astronomical dollar amounts.
I am older so most of my concert attending days are behind me. I have to say that between face value cost and the ease of using reselling sites I feel bad for the current concert buying generation.
Going to concerts is our hobby so to speak. It's really unfortunate and sickening on how the costs & fees continue to climb.
