Ticket transfer mistake

I have a problem that doesn’t seem to be getting resolved. I sold two NFL tickets a few days ago to a particular game. I am a season ticket holder btw. Anyway, once the tickets sold, I mistakenly transferred the wrong tickets to the buyer. By the time I realized that I transferred the wrong tickets, the other ones had been claimed. Anyway, after several calls to stubhub, the buyer reported the mistake as well. Stubhub called me , said they had the buyer on the phone. Stubhub rep asked me to transfer the original tix that buyer bought and he would return the mistake tickets back to me. I did so, but now after a few days, I haven’t received the other tix back. Just wondering if I have any recourse in this matter , I just hope buyer isn’t trying to deny my tickets

I think that you have to hope that your buyer returns the tickets. Keep calling Stubhub to ask them to contact the buyer to return the tickets. Maybe as a season ticket holder you can call your ticket rep and see if the tickets can be voided and new ones issued to you. Although if the STH terms for your team prohibits third party resale then you won’t want to tell your rep that you sold on Stubhub.

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking of trying that if this person doesn’t return them. I have friends and family that will be seated next to and around this person when they attend the game that I was originally selling tix for. The mistake tix game isn’t for another two weeks. All my people will be briefed before Sunday’s game.
