Credit Card Compromised

I wanted to see if others have unfortunately had this issue, but my credit card was compromised on StubHub's site. I used it to purchase tickets back in December and it was compromised. If I used this credit card on other sites, this wouldn't be concerning, but it's the only time that I have ever used the card. Someone got the number and made multiple purchases on Stubhub. I called to file a claim with Stubhub and was told I would be reimbursed within 7 days. After two weeks, I have not been reimbursed nor contacted by Stubhub. I called Stubhub again only to have to go through the whole process again. Disappointing that Stubhub's site isn't secure and that they don't respond to their customers by making things "right" by reimbursing me. I am now having to pursue through another avenue.

Re: Credit Card Compromised

Be careful...as I mentioned in my latest post, credit card information is not secure on Stubhub's site. Mine was compromised as noted which I guess can happen. After it was compromised, someone (people) purchased tickets to multiple events and card was charged for those tickets. After conversations with multiple people and email exchanges promising my reimbursement, I still have not received payment. I would strongly advise (unless you want to chance a bad experience such as the one I have had) to stay away from purchasing from Stubhub. If I had been refunded, I would feel differently, but because their website isn't secure AND they refuse to reimburse me, I would recommend using other ticket/event sites. This issue has been ongoing for 3 weeks and now I'm having to take other action which costs me additional time and money.
