The seller has not released the tickets.

I purchased an MLB ticket for the game on March 27 and April 2, but I have not received my tickets yet.

I have already booked a flight specifically for this game, which cost me $5,000. Simply receiving a refund is not sufficient compensation if I do not get my ticket.
When I used this site last year, I did not experience any issues like this.

I believe the platform should enforce stricter penalties on sellers, such as canceling the transaction if the seller fails to send the ticket to the buyer within three days.
If I do not hear from the seller soon, I will dispute the charge with my credit card company and consider taking legal action.

When did the seller indicate the tickets would be ready?  Also some teams have not released tickets to their fans yet.  For instance the Yankees only released tickets a few days ago

I see! Since it’s still before the season starts, it seems the seller may not have the tickets yet.

For the March 27 game, the seller said they would have the tickets by March 26, and for the April 2 game, the seller said the tickets would be available on April 2. However, since April 2 is Shohei Ohtani’s Bobblehead Day, I’m really concerned about getting the tickets on the day of the game. I realize it was my mistake to forget to select instant download...

Most, if not all teams at this point, don't release their mobile tickets in the Ballpark App until 24-48 hours before the game date so instant download probably was not an option.  And since the seller might not even have the tickets available to transfer yet beause of the 24-48 hour period you might not win a dispute.  Sorry to say but you might be stuck waiting and hoping that you have a good seller.

You could try to find out when the Dodgers activate their tickets for transfer in the Ballpark App.

I see, that makes sense. The Dodgers ticket I purchased from the official MLB website already displays a QR code, but perhaps the person trying to resell their ticket is a season ticket holder. I’ll wait a little longer and see what happens.
