Purchased tickets in Feb for Phillies game.Seat map showed tickets behind home plate available in dugout section F which is separate from the rest of the section. So the dugout section was colored blue while the rest of the section was gray. It's important to note because the other sections behind home plate showed the opposite, general section colored blue and dugout section grayed out. The listing didn't have the exact row and seat, but they were listed as DUG F for $198 per. The row and seat didn't show at check out but I assumed that I was buying tickets in the section they were listed. Shortly after the purchase was complete I got an email revealing that the tickets I purchased were in the last row (19) of general section F and not in the dugout section. This was a bucket list purchase for a family member. I wouldnt have spent aprox $555 ($198 x 2 + $155 in service fees) if I knew they would be in the general section F, because there were much cheaper options available in the other adjacent sections. I've reached out to customer service 3 times now. The first agent acknowledged that there was an issue after I provided screen shots, and said they would escalate. The other 2 were completely dismissive. They said they would escalate and then kept telling me that "selling the tickets is a great way to recoup the cost" completely ignoring the fact that Id be lucky to recoup 1/2 of what I paid. All I wanted was the opportunity to cancel the sale and buy new tickets that were closer and cheaper than what I ended up with. The event is tomorrow so Stub hub has basically told me to f*!k myself by completely dismissing me. So much for the buyer guarantee. Wondering if anyone else has experience this? Is it worth exploring legal action ?
