Stubhub is stealing money from me. Again!

I recently bought a pair of tickets for a show that had a reserved section and a general admission section.  For this venue, reserved tickets are always hard to get and expensive because there are very few seats.  I paid $400 for a pair.

The event was moved to another venue that is all general admission.  The primary ticketing site for the event is refunding anyone who bought reserved seats the price difference.  (Reserved seats at the old venue are about double the cost of general admission.)

I just got off the phone with Stubhub and the will not refund my order, not even partially.

I 100% understand the policy of not refunding orders when an event is rescheduled.  But, I paid a high price for premium tickets, and those tickets don't exist at the new venue.  It's very messed up that they don't compensate at all in this situation.

You are being unrealistic about Stubhub.   All they are is a middle man between seller and buyer so the change in venue and subsequent refund that the original ticketing site is offering has no bearing on them.  They don't care that the venue change caused a change in the value of the tickets that you bought.   All they care is that the event has not been canceled so the sale stands as is.

I understand perfectly well what stubhub is. But if the seats change materially, they should be giving a refund.
