Hello friends, what exactly are the rules when it comes to selling paper tickets the same day of the event (when there's no possible way to get it delivered by any given carrier)? Is it the sellers responsibility to have it delivered once the order has been fulfilled? What happens to the order if the tickets are not delivered due to the buyer not providing the logistic (i.e. meeting place) in a timely manner?
Appreciate the clarification.
You can't sell paper tickets last minute. The sale must take place with enough time for the seller to mail the paper tickets to the buyer.
And oh by the way there is no direct communication allowed between buyer and seller so you can't meet the buyer to deliver tickets.
Thank you bossfan. I didn't know. This was my first time selling tickets on StubHub. I contacted the buyer as a last ditch effort to get the tickets sold. No idea I couldn't make contact.
Anyhow, StubHub is now charging me for the full price I was selling due to the sale not being fulfilled. Since no money was transferred, no sure why they are charging me? Who gets the money? Can I dispute it? If the charge goes through, I'm going to end paying over $550 and I didn't even go to the event. Something doesn't seem right here.
Appreciate any feedback you can provide.
If your tickets sold and you could not fulfill the sale then Stubhub is very strict about that. You can call them but chances are that you will not get the non fulfillment penalty reversed. 866-Stubhub
