It’s your responsibility to track your profit or loss for tax purposes. While it would be helpful you don’t need Stubhub to activate that field.

Thank you. I'm aware of Stubhub's customer service number and deal with SH customer service very frequently. Stubhub did answer me through DM and am discussing the issue iwth them. I don't want to alert AXS to the fact that I've now created multiple accounts with my name and phone number. Like I mentioned, their fraud prevention is very sensitive. I've never done anything remotely fraudulent and have had my account blocked before and had to go through many steps, emails and calls to undo it. So don't want to inadvertently trigger anything. That's my whole reason for raising this issue. I'm sure it will cause issues for people who buy lots of tickets.

Hi @florerot I hope your husband is doing better as that is the most important. Did you buy insurance for the event? If you did not then it is unlikely that you will get a refund. The seller sent you tickets. Stubhub facilitated the sale. IF you could not go you could have always put the tickets back up for sale on Stubhub.

FYI VIP benefits do not transfer to the buyer. It could be that with the concert tomorrow it is too close to the event date to list the tickets. I think that listings drop off within 48 hours of the event date.

Meetup sales are not allowed on Stubhub, could be why your buyer is rejecting the transfer. There is not supposed to be any communication with your buyer. You will be getting dinged with a penalty by Stubhub.

You will be charged 100% of the sale for the ticket that you can’t deliver. It’s a standard non delivery penalty, doesn’t matter that you didn’t get paid on it.

You may not get all of your money back, it depends on what the secondary market prices are like. If the amount you need to get back is more than what similar tickets are priced at then you will hvae to competitively price them in order to have a chance of them getting sold. There is no guarentee of a sale so if your plan is to sell your tickets and buy other ones then you could end up with extra tickets. What is the delivery date that your confirmation email shows, that is when you can expect to receive the tickets.

@AntiStub If you received incorrect tickets for a venue that you did not purchase then call Stubhub for help 866-Stubhub. If you purchased the wrong venue then that is on you and Stubhub will not refund or exchange those tickets. You will have to resell and buy for the correct venue. You can also call Stubhub if you need help listing those tickets.

@uvitti The normal procedure is that your seller sends tix to you and then you send to your buyer. If you will only have a 3 hour window then call Stubhub for advice maybe they can have your seller send to your buyer. Not sure they will do that but if your seller doesn’t deliver to your buyer then confirm that you will not be responsible for not delivering to your buyer.

Most times ticket transfer gets turned on 24-48 hours in advance. But if for your event ticket transfer is not allowed at all then it is likely that the seller will not be able to transfer the tickets to you.

All your questions can be answered in one way. The seller is obligated to deliver tickets by the date that was on the listing. So if that is after Christmas then no you won’t have them in time for Christmas. And while the seller is supposed to deliver the tickets there is enough complaints on here that it’s possible you will not get them. As for cancellation of the sale you can’t do that. And if you dispute with credit card company while your delivery date has not come yet then you’d probably lose the dispute.

Sometimes ticket transfer is restricted until 24-48 hours before the event date. So I suggest that you wait to confirm that any tickets you buy can be transfered.

I am having same issue. Can't find where I can reach someone from stubhub. I was told Id be getting an email about my case and I am still waiting for that email which apparently isn't coming. I was took for over $700. Never received my tickets or never received any emails about transferring the tickets. All I kept getting told is that my tickets should be arriving. I missed the event because I didnt get tickets. Seems to be nobody can help on this matter. Very frustrating

You can do what you want, but as an NHL season ticket holder myself I would not be happy if I gave somone my tickets and then they turned around and resold them on Stubhub. Some NHL clubs will take away season tickets that are resold on a third party resale site. If you don't want the tickets, then instead of trying to profit from someone's generosity while jeopardizing their season tickets, why don't you give them to someone that might enjoy going to the game.

So it sounds like your buyer declined the ticket transfer? They can’t decide to not accept the tickets in hope of getting a refund. I believe that since you completed your sale then you should still get paid. You need to call Stubhub 866-Stubhub to tell them what happened and give them your documentation that you transferred the tickets.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm aware of the support line. I did call them, but usually have issues and end up getting charged when I relist tickets from stubhub, sell them, and then the seller doesn't deliver them. Always ends up getting fixed, but I have to make a bunch of phone calls and usually spend 1 hour + on the phone to fix it after the fact. Just was requesting help here to try and avoid that even though I reported everything via the phone line.

Hi @vegaswoody You do not transfer the tickets to Stubhub. If your tickets sell you are given the buyers name and email and you transfer from Ticketmaster to your buyer. Remember to confirm the transfer after it is made. If the tickets do not sell you are free to use them. Just remember to delete the listing otherwise it is possible they sell late and you would not be able to transfer and thus could incur a penalty
